A romantic thing my partner does for me is…

  • He calls every day to say I love you.

  • She tells me she loves me.

  • He takes off my glasses when I fall asleep reading.

  • She makes sure to make a romantic dinner on our anniversary.

  • Nothing....

  • He rubs my feet at night while we are cuddling and watching television.

  • My husband makes me a very hot bath, just how I like it, with oil and bubble bath. He has candles lit and the lights off. He undresses me and helps me in the bath. Then he brings me a snack and a drink, followed by a cigarette. And he sits and talks to me while I relax. Then we go have fun.......

  • Kisses me upon parting or greeting me every time.

  • He gets up with the kids on weekend mornings,

  • Letting me sleep in. He even makes the coffee and gets them breakfast!

  • Nothing (unfortunately)... :(

  • We frequently shower together, scrubbing each other's backs and feeling physically and emotionally close. It doesn't always lead to sex, but sometimes it does, and it's great.

  • This is a hard one... he doesn't do too many things I'd consider romantic... Well, once every few years he brings home some flowers for no real reason. I guess that's romantic, although infrequent! :)

  • The laundry.

  • Makes me a cup of tea when I'm feeling down.

  • Calls me "love," always insists on me choosing dinner, and then fixes it every night, touches my cheek before he kisses me so we don't get shocked in the cold weather, takes my hands to talk to me directly, in a loving, romantic voice, tries hard all the time to please me even though I'm easy to please. :-)

  • Stands by me! Supportive! Loves me! Nonjudgmental! Holds me! Expects nothing in return! I also do the same for him!

  • My husband buys me flowers.

  • Buys me a card. Makes me some nice soup and a meal and treats me nicely at home.

  • Cooks me dinner after we put the baby to bed so that we can have a quiet evening alone.

  • He warms up our comforter in the dryer and puts it on me all nice and warm.

  • If I'm following him on the highway, he pays the toll for me....makes me melt every time.

  • Sends me e-mails.
  • Tries to call just to say hello sometime during the day.

  • Takes me out on special dates, after 33 years of marriage.

  • Gee, I get a card every year . . .I think that is a "token" for the sake of the kids, 11 & 15 years old.

  • Gives me back rubs - especially nice when I've had a hard day.

  • I am in an electric wheelchair. It is so special to me when he stands behind the chair and rubs my shoulders and neck while we visit with friends. He makes me feel so special.

  • He tells me he loves me and that I am a very beautiful woman. He listens to me when I talk. He wants me to tell him when something is wrong. He is considerate and kind.

  • Takes bubble baths with champagne.

  • Used to give me little notes.

  • I don't know if everyone would consider this romantic, but my husband will get up early to turn to heater on in the bathroom so that my shower is extremely comfortable. He will then get me something to eat (I'm pregnant!), and he warms up the car and clears any ice. All in all, he seems to enjoy taking care of me, especially in the mornings.

  • He is very romantic. And does a lot to support that. But the one thing that I appreciate the most is that he always says the right thing at the right time, it means everything to me, he is always in tune.

  • My husband writes beautiful poetry to me, about me, on special occasions. This personal expression of his feelings about me, our relationship and our life together is even more than romantic. It enriches and deepens our relationship.

  • He brings me coffee in bed every weekday morning to help me get off to work.
  • Nothing.

  • I can't think of one thing - isn't that sad?

  • NOTHING

  • Cooks dinner.

  • Washes my hair.

  • He babies and does little stuff for me all the time. Since I have arthritis, he rubs me down, is careful with me, he gets me stuff I need or want, helps with kids and the house and when he is at home and off the road he will make me a little lunch and act like a butler and make it perfect but it makes me giggle. It's so cute and sweet. He really goes out of the way to make me feel special.

  • Calls to say "I love you" in the middle of the day.

  • Used to give me little notes.

  • Lets me sleep in on the weekends and he gets up with the baby.
